Ocean City Wreck Dive Sites   |   Zone Map

Zone 1: This zone is about 4.5 Miles offshore SE of Ocean City Inlet and ranges from 30-50 feet in depth.

Zone 2: This zone is about 12 Miles offshore E of Ocean City Inlet and ranges from 50-70 feet in depth.

Zone 3: This zone is about 15 Miles offshore SE of Ocean City Inlet and ranges from 60-85 feet in depth. *Advanced Required

Zone 4: This zone ranges from 15-20+ Miles offshore E and NE of Ocean City Inlet and ranges from 80-120 feet in depth. *Advanced Required

Kathleen Riggin
Zone 2 / Depth: 55-65 ft
A small side hauler clammer, the Kathleen Riggin was capsized / sunk by a rogue swell on November 14, 1991 @ approx.10:30am. This vessel is still intact and can be carefully penetrated.
 
Pharoby Dragger
Zone 2 / Depth: 55-65 ft
The Pharoby Dragger sunk around 1980. This wreck is broken up with a large rubble field; wreck reel is suggested for exploring this wreck.
 
Memorial Reef
Zone 2 / Depth: 55-65 ft
Part of the Maryland Artificial Reef Program, this medium sized barge and concrete block reef sits about 10 miles East of Ocean City Inlet and is home to a diverse marine habitat.
 
New York Subway Cars
Zone 2 / Depth: 70 ft
Part of the Maryland Artificial Reef Program, these New York City Transit subway cars are grouped in 5-6 car clusters and can be carefully penetrated.
 
B.I. Cutter
Zone 2 / Depth: 55-65 ft
This small ship is broken into two pieces and can be carefully penetrated. The B.I. Cutter is part of the Maryland Artificial Reef Program.
 
How Are the Sites Selected?
On "Peak" season trips the sites will be selected the morning of the trip based on the collected vote of the divers onboard within a preselected zone. On "Non-Peak" trips the zone is selected base on the first sign up for that trip. All site selections are of course subject to conditions allowing it to be safe enough to get to the site.

Peak Season:
June 1 thru August 31, Sat & Sunday

Non-Peak:
April 1 thru May 31 Sat & Sunday
June 1 thru August 31, Wed thru Friday
